The Oath of Neutrality in Belief (ONB):

I agree and bind myself to decline comment on any matter of belief that might suggest bias. This applies to any belief system, secular or supernatural.

Any bid, inducement or demand to engage in discussion of specific belief systems - or any agency or behavior that complies with one - I will regard as a form of proselytizing and I will decline.

How to respond to the demands of beliefs:

Thank you x for your [comment | question]. As you [may not know | know] I am a member of the Society for Freedom from Belief. The SFB requires all candidates for membership to take an Oath of Neutrality in Belief (the ONB). This means that I agree and bind myself to decline comment on any matter of belief that might suggest bias. This applies to any belief system, secular or supernatural. Any bid to engage in discussion of specific belief systems the SFB regards as a form of proselytizing, which by the ONB I am also obligated to decline. This will be the case even if my conclusions and those of any given belief system are the same.

Unbeliever is not to be mistaken merely with a skeptic, a scientist, an atheist or the like. We go not just a step further, but we take the last possible step. If you'd like to consort with our ilk please shoot us an email accepting the oath above and discuss in 3000 words or less 3 moderately controversial issues of our day and we'll decide if you're one of us. Have a great belief-free day !!

Cheers wonderful person!
